Well, first off, I'd rather be in Scotland! LOL. I'm down in East Anglia. icon_biggrin.gif

I think your best bet is to google some shops if nobody here replies in time.

Have fun shopping for all of your goodies and remember to pack lightly on the way over, so you can load UP on the way back! LOL. thumbs_up.gif

In Manhattan there is:

New York Cake and Bake Shop
56 W 22nd St Between 5th and 6th Avenues
(212) 675-2253

In Queens there are two that I know of:

Pfeil and Holing:
58-15 Northern Blvd.
Woodside, N.Y.
Monday through Friday 8am - 4pm

and my least favorite: (they have a lot of things but they are more expensive than Pfeil and Holing and the owner is not the friendliest person to say the least)

Sugar Room
44-21 Queens Blvd.
Sunnyside N.Y. 11104
(71icon_cool.gif 707-2900
Monday through Saturday 10am - 7pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm

Thank you, i will put the addresses on my phone. I am staying on 57th street so I am hoping I don't get lost. You are right I will need to leave room in my cases for all the cake decorating stuff. Though I bet my husband wants room for golf things and daughter for make up and clothes.

thanks again
