I've been asked to make a castle similar to this one
Image
It doesn't have to be exact but this was their favorite of all of the castles they looked at. Anyhow, anyone have any thoughts on how to make it, specifically the hexagon (versus round) spires?

You mean that it is a specific pan or a kit?

Ok, I found this...

But what is it? Is it a premade gumpaste castle? Is it plaster?

They're made of styro foam.......at least the ones I've seen.

here's a link to the one you need I think..........scroll down the page to the $59.00 one, it looks a lot like your cake pic.

you could try making a template similar to a gingerbread house and make it out of pastillage. You may find this is time consuming though and it takes a lot of practice
