How long can I keep chocolate ganache in the refrigerator? I made some on June 11th and it has been in the frig, covered, since then and I'm wondering if I can still use it.
Also, can I make big batches of butter/shortening buttercream and freeze it? Will the consistency or texture be different? What about if there is coloring added to the icing?
My husband is laying vinyl in my soon to be licensed kitchen today and should be finished with everything in the next two weeks! I can't wait to get started!
I freeze buttercream with no problem. Even colored one. Just rewhip it after you defrost it and that's it.
