I just finish baking and I need to know if I can fill and crumb coat and leave the cakes outside on the counter top. Then tomorrow evening put the layer of buttercream and fondant on?

Thanks my CC family.

I think it should be ok. The crumb coat of buttercream will keep it from drying out.

Just as long as the filling isn't perishable it should be okay, although it has always helped me to put the fondant on when the cake is firmer with refrigeration.

I leave a crumbcoated cake on the counter overnight all the time. Just as long as that filling doesn't need to be refrigerated, you'll be fine.
