Empty Food Cans For Cake Pans?

Can empty (clean) food cans, be used for cake pans? Im wanting to
make different cake sizes.Has anyone tried it?

I use empty tuna fish cans to bake my mini cakes in. No nned to try and cut 3" circles icon_smile.gif

Yes! I thought so.icon_smile.gif I been having clients wanting "fairey size cakes" to
smaller "tea cup" sizes.Thank you guys for relief. icon_smile.gif

So far Iv just used many (4) different sized cans.Lowerd the temp
of oven to 350 ..I wanted to see how it would bake.Came out fine for
me.You might want to watch you oven and take note if there is any
difference.Im pleased with the outcome.Just didnt see myself buying
pricey cake pans..wich got my into a light bulb moment on using cans
for different shapes/sizes.
