I am making a couple cakes for a 50th wedding ann. and I want the buttercream to be ivory cream colored (not white). Any suggestions?

Wilton makes an ivory paste color.

You can purchase the ivory coloring. Or you may can use a tiny touch of brown and mix and add till you achieve the color you want.

If your buttercream recipe calls for butter and real vanilla extract, it should already be off-white. Add tiny bits of brown coloring until you get the shade of ivory you want.

I use the ivory color from Wilton, and it works great!
