I used to think WASC stood for White Anglo-Saxon Cake, but I knew that couldn't be right. It means white almond sour cream cake. The recipe is here on CC.

misha, the link wouldn't work for me. it said i was looking for something that wasn't there. i am also new to this. not only the baking abbrevs but how about post too? DH? i'm guessing dear husband?? and i thought WASC was a certain brand and tried to find it on ebay...felt really stupid when i found a recipe on here instead...
