Does buttercream freeze well?
How about Indydebi's recipe?
How about filled cupcakes?
Cookies decorated with glace'?
If they don't freeze well, how long will these stay fresh in refrigerator?

Thanks.

I've never frozen just the frosting but frosted cakes and they've been fine.

Thanks, Sari. I wonder if one icing freezes better than others.

I freeze a frosted cake with a cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar frosting. NEVER had a problem. I crumbcoat and freeze. Then frost and decorate a frozen cake. If I need it soon, I leave it out. If not, Back in the freezer. BTW smoothing frosting with a hot spatula is easy when frozen.
