I bought this cake pan off of ebay. Is there suppose to be two pans or can you just make one cake at a time and then ice it together?
Also does anyone have any cute ideas for this pan? Thanks

Since one side of the pan has a hole in it you bake them together, there are two seperate pans. You will need some bakers twine to keep the top pan from seperating from the bottom.

I made it into the Hogwarts express once for my boys.

There are two pans, you fill one pan almost to the very top, then put the other side on top and use a string to tie them together so when it bakes they stay together. Then when it bakes it's suppose to rise and fill the other side of the pan as well then you have one cake with two sides. Works fairly well. Good Luck!

You won't be able to put the two halves together, they won't match up.

A flat cake will work but I hope you have the side without the hole, you can probably patch it with a little foil but it won't be the easiest thing ever.
