hi, need some help.. looking for a cake recipe that will hold up to fondant for a wedding cake... maybe a moist pound cake... vanilla with chocolate chips. thanks for your help...

Any good butter cake should hold up to fondant. I have baked many different types of scratch butter cakes and have never had a problem with them not holding up well to fondant.

If you do want a good pound cake recipe, Paula Deen's Cream Cheese Pound cake is awesome and it would be easy to modify by throwing some chocolate chips into it.
