Hi, I haven't been here in a while, but I have a dilemma. Are there any colours I can combine to make a burgandy colour? I'm in a bit of a crunch.
hi, on the wilton color chart. it says... 5pts. bakers rose. .. 1 pt violet.. this chart is on the wilton site.. americolor has a chart also. and i think global sugar art.. i had them put up.. but can,t find them.. so i will reprint some for me to keep at my side.ha! wilton also makes a burgandy color.. but sometimes my michaels doesn,t carry it.. i order it from wilton..
Well, according to the ingredient list on my burgandy color bottle (Wilton), the colors used are red, yellow and blue. Maybe that will help you achieve what you're looking for? HTH
Hi.. burgundy is a hard color to get. Basically it is mostly red with some purple and a tiny bit of brown. I would start with a red icing and add purple a little bit at a time. Finish off with a touch of brown to tone it.
