Water Splashed On My Finished Fondant Cake!!! Help

how big is the spot/spots...You can try and smooth some icing sugar or cornstarch to dry it out but it will turn dull...but better than wet and sticky.You can also try and dab the water off with a kleenex or paper towel.Otherwise nothing really.

there are a couple big spots. I tried to dab it but it left a bit of an dip in the fondant. grrrrr

I had fair results by using the cornstarch or ps as Kiddiekakes suggested, allowing it to dry as much as time will allow, and then "polishing" with a bit of shortening. Use a soft cloth, and carry the shortening over as big an area as you can after you have smoothed over the actual spots. The shortening will mostly absorb into the fondant within an hour or so.
