icon_confused.gif So, I followed the directions someone posted to wrap the board with the cake on it with the fondant...to hide the board. Made sense. I am unable, as I have found out, to stagger the books using this method. Even though the board had a thin coat of icing applied to it before wrapping, the fondant after about 30 minutes or so decided to release from the board where it hung over the book below. The humidity is killer. I've moistened the areas that detached and pressed it upward again and slid an cs coated icing smoother in there to offer some support/pressure.

Has anyone had this trouble? If so, what did you do to remedy the situation?

Anyone with a similar situation with a cake not necessarily a stack of books, I would love to hear how you corrected the problem as well.

TYVMIA!

Something is amok! I don't want to be alone with these limp things...somebody at least tell me you've been there too!

I've had problems with other limp things, but not book covers...here's a bump.
