Today is my 16th wedding anniversary icon_biggrin.gif

And i'm baking my own cake for a dinner at my house tomorrow....i'm doing a puertorican cake that requires to be soaked in almond syrup.

I made 2 9x3, 2 8x3 and 2 4x4 to stack up, but my concern is that since this is a wet cake...i'm I going to have problems with the dowels....I AM SO SCARE to start stacking them up.

ANy suggestions?

So each tear will be 6 inches high...i'm concerned about the weight.

Remember...the weight of the cake should be resting on the support system, not the cake below it. The weight of the cake shouldn't be an issue. Dowel properly or better yet, invest in the SPS. HTH. icon_smile.gif

Click this link to read all about it. I've heard nothing but rave reviews on this.
