Ri Or Sugar Cookie Icing?

What is the preferred icing for sugar cookies. I just used RI on some, and was wondering about other options. I saw tara1970's recipe, which got some pretty good reviews, so I was wondering! Would love to hear what everyone uses.

Also, in the above recipe, can I substitute liquid glucose instead of corn syrup. I live in India, and haven't been able to find corn syrup anywhere! Thanks!

hi lostbaker - you might get more responses in the cookie forum, but let me see if I can help...

I use a royal icing (Antonia74's recipe). I know a lot of people use a glace icing. Here are some threads that talk about both...
