I have a birthday cake due friday, and a wedding cake due saturday... i want to go ahead and make them- but i dont know if they will be any good by the date they are due. the friday cake is in buttercream, and the saturday cake is in fondant... thanks for your help!!!
hi, i'm sure your cakes will be okay..i've had cakes filled 3 days prior to event..covered them in fondant day before event & sit on the counter overnight & they were okay...
I have a similar situation this week. I baked my cakes last night that I need for Friday. I simply froze them and will thaw/decorate them on Thursday night. I have found that if I freeze my cakes they are much much moister.
