Which do you prefer....reg chocolate fondant recipe or chocolate mmf.
I have read that adding shortening (melted it seems) keeps choc fondant from being dry. anyone have an opinion or experience with that?

We've bought already made chocolate fondant and we've made our own chocolate MMF and they taste very much the same - like a tootsie roll! It sure does get dry, though! I'm sure adding crisco is helpful, but it's just a bit harder to work with.
