I a buying a gas convection oven for my new store & I am looking at the Vulcans....if you have one, can you please tell me what you like or don't like about them?
Please don't leave any cutesy remarks about Spock. This is the second time I am posting this thread...the first was hijacked by those remarks & I really need the advice.
I don't have one personally, but Vulcan was what we had at school. I liked baking in it. We just had to adjust the temp and turn the fans off. They got switched one once, the cakes were completly leaning. I think we adjusted the temp. between 50-75 degrees, but it's been a few years. Vulvan has been around a long time, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
Thanks for your reply...I also read some reviews online...I think it's a great item.
The restaurant we used to manage had them, the fan was pretty strong in the one we had (not sure of the age??) That one would move some cake batter I am sure - the new models may not have that issue.
I like the Deluxe ones - have you looked at those?
