Does anyone know if I could get an edible image of a logo that's simply for a family member's graduation cake that I'm doing? This is not a cake for a customer, and it's not being sold. I need a Disney image, but not the kid stuff like characters. It's the Wide World of Sports. Is that still infringement?

Yeah it's still infringement of their copyright. However, it would be the grocery store that got in trouble because they sold you the image.

If you have the equipment and you're printing the image yourself, it's not infringement as long as you're not SELLING the cake. However, if you're expecting a grocery store to produce the image, they cannot do it legally, as they're SELLING you the image. Their response should be "that's a copyrighted image and we cannot reproduce it for you."
