I am going to be trying this recipe for the first time for a graduation cake this weekend. I am a newbie to this and I usually just use box cake mix. My questions is this...I am doing a 12x18x2 sheet cake. I usually use 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cake box mixes. Cakepro's recipe says it will make enough to fill 1 10x3 and 1 8x3. Or 2 8x3's and a 6x3. Will this make enough to fill my sheet cake???? The recipe doesn't say how many cups of batter it makes so I am confused.

The double chocolate WASC recipe is enough for a 12x18. I use the double wasc recipes for my 12x18 all the time. Good luck!

Definitely make the "whole" recipe (the one that calls for 2 boxes of mix) and that will be plenty. You may not have to use quite of all the batter. Make sure you don't overfill the pan. I've had a few cakes spill over in the oven because I used all the batter on WASC. Good luck!
