Yesterday I made SMBC with a hint of almond flavour. It tastes so good. Now I need to find a cake to pair it up with as well as a mousse/custard filling. I am making a 70th birthday cake for my father-in-law.
Any suggestions would be great.
I love almond and apricot together. In the past I have done a white cake with apricot filling and almond buttercream. I also love almond and lemon flavorings together.
