Anyone have suggestions/tips on how to make whipped cream frosting nice and smooth? icon_cry.gif I did do a crumb layer, but I can't seem to get it smooth. Is it even possible? (I'm familiar with the methods for BC, but I don't believe they will work for whipped cream) Thanks!

I can never get it smooth. My only trick is to put more on than you need and take a bench scraper and turn your turntable - try to get it as smooth as you can in one swipe.

The hot knife method might work, but i've never done it...

Ok, thank you for your suggestion. I will try making a lot of extra whipped cream next time. icon_smile.gif

I am not sure of whip cream, but i made a cake for my School's Graduation using Bettercream, and I use the bench scraper with hot water and it became very smooth,
