I've searched Youtube and maybe I'm not using the right terms. any idea on a good tutorial for gum paste people? TIA
I don't know anything about gumpaste tutorials, but have you looked into polymer clay instruction books? If you know the basics of working with gumpaste, clay books can show you how to put figures together. I use them all the time for animals and things.
Marcela Sanchez has an instructional DVD for bride and groom that could probably translate into general people. I just ordered it but haven't received it yet. There is a series of tutorials on polymer clay faces on YouTube that are very good.
Tuggy made a wonderful tutorial for a bride and a groom too...
Lorraine is the absolute master at this and knowing that some of us can't always go overseas or make it to Texas when she holds her classes by herself or with Debbie Brown (which i would die to go to) if we live too far away she has made some of her tutorials for purchase which I have and the 1st one i ever did for a baby shower was a smash and the mom to be wanted to take it home as a keepsake.
I am so excited as i am typing this and getting the link directly to her blog there is something posted about how she is coming in June 2010 to Florida- I already emailed her to save me a space. I'm sorry I just got really excited about this.
above is the direct link and above that is her website/blog.
I posted some links on another gumpaste figure topic! Here is the link to that discussion.
I think Lorraine is great too! I ordered her tutorials and altered it to do a pregnant woman! Her tutorials are easy to follow and great!
I just saw one on you tube for faces I'll try to find the link...
