Has anyone tried buttercream cutouts? If I undstand correctly, this is when you spread buttercream to desired thickness and freeze. Then use some type of cutter/shape to make a cutout that is to be transfered to a cake. I guess cookie cutters would be a good tool?
I haven't tried that, but it's a great idea! I have used the buttercream transfers where you pipe on plastic wrap and freeze, then place it on the cake, it works great, even on the side of the cake. I like this idea too, can't wait to use it!
