do you mean to paint on fondant and gumpaste? Cose i just use my paste colours diltued with vodka to paint with or you can used powdered colours used the same way too

You can use luster dust thinned with vodka, food gel coloring thinned with vodka and powdered colors dissolved in vodka or any clear extracts.

well they could have been using a silver dust diltued with vodka or they also might be painting with edible metallic paints you can buy too
