I'm wondering if anyone has done a stencil with ganache ... I'm doing a simple birthday cake for an 18 year old young man. It will be's Double Chocolate Layer Cake with chocolate buttercream and dark chocolate ganache. I'm planning to 'dribble' the ganache around the edges and was going to cut out gumpaste letters to put on the cake board, but I have a "B" stencil that I got for a groom's cake and never used. Do you think that I could use ganache to stencil the B on top of the cake? I really don't see why I couldn't, but I don't know if the stencil would come up clean.

I can always just cover the whole cake if it messes up, but I thought I would ask.

TIA! icon_biggrin.gif
