What is this stuff? I bought it sight unseen and assumed that it was liquid extract/flavoring. Not so much. It comes in a clear pastry bag and is, well creamy. How do I use it? I'd planned to use it in cake batter.

The stuff i've seen is perpared candy fillings, sounds like the same thing you have there. Probably too much sugar to add to cake batter with out screwing it up.
