Is there a special ribbon to use when putting it around a cake?
The navy ribbon I used on a cake turned the white frosting blue!! UGH!

I don't use any special type of ribbon, but I do cut a strip of wax paper and put it behind my ribbon. I've never had any problems. Just attach to the back of the cake with a dab of royal icing.
