Hey All,

I am doing a wedding cake this weekend. Small, 2 8" rounds, covered in white Choco-Pan and hot pink/hot orange polka dots.

How do I get my polka dot colors to really "pop" as in shiny or just not dull? When I put them on can I brush them with something?

Thanks for helping!

try lusterdust. It'll make'em all shimmery.

Clear Rum and some piping gel mix until piping gel is a bit runny and brush that on the dots and they will really look shiny. Do a trial test to see if that is the shine you are looking for.

For an ultra easy way, spray em lightly with Pam cooking spray. I discovered this by accident, it gives a nice light shine.
