Sam's club and GFS both sells real vanilla in a 16oz botle. GFS sells imitaion, almond and I think butter by the gallon jug. You can purchase from many sites online. too

I use Sam's Club real van extract and I also use the Watkins Double Vanilla imitation flavoring. I usually use the watkins though for my cookies and the extract for my icings.
I am having a heck of a time though finding the big bottles of real Almond Extract. Sam's seems to not have it any longer.

My Costco only carries the real (non-imitation) vanilla extract. I have not seen it (haven't looked for it), but per my father they do have almond extract as well.

Hi, I am from SC too. I just bought a gallon of clear imitation vanilla from the Happy Home website. It is $14 and the shipping was $8.

just say no to imitation vanilla....we use madagascar real vanilla or even better hatian vanilla...of course our icing is not stark white, which doesn't seem to bother people after they taste our icing.

Isn't all clear vanilla imitation? I just always assumed that anyway. If there is natural vanilla that is clear, I'd be interested to find out where to get it.

I just purchased a 16oz bottle of clear (imitation) vanilla for $4.75 from Niblack. I actually got it in the store, I don't see that size on their website. I think it is a new size and they haven't updated. They're very nice there so just call and speak to someone. Not every item is on their website.

I like this brand better than the Wilton.

I also got a 16oz bottle of almond extract for $15 from Niblack.
