...manages to get any cakes made? Even with the fastest fingers in the (mid)west, she spends a lot of time helping us all. Not only does she answer posts, but she's generous in responding to PM's as well. Thanks, Miss Deb! I'm glad they did a member spotlight on you so we can put a face with a name.

Don't forget she's a caterer and has a cookie business, too! Busy, busy, busy!
In fact, I salute all the working Moms (and Dads) who find time to do it all!

LOL! Mackey and I think alike. I was just about to say that I don't think she sleeps either. If she does, it must not be a lot. I think she's very efficient with her business too.

No to mention that she knows a little bit about just about any topic. I've told her this before...she's like the neighbor (Wilson?) on Home Improvement. remember him?

Definitely agree with everyone so far! She is so helpful. And what, has she made it to 18,000 posts yet? My goodness, I was working trying to get another star by making 400 posts!...and no star!!! Gotta get to 500 I guess. I won't even think about posting as much as Debi!LOL
But I'm glad she has the time and is willing to be so generous here. I love to pick her brain sometimes or offer "food for thought" conversation, when I'm not reading what she's already shared. thumbs_up.gif

Folks, I'm Debi's husband, Mr. Debi. And yes, she is an amazing woman. But behind every amazing woman, there is a man trying to convince her that he is the king of the castle. It's getting harder and harder to convince her that a man with no thread of his own is the master! I mean, she doesn't even like fried green tomatoes! Or peanut butter and green onion sandwiches! She doesn't even eat Chef Boyardee ravioli out of the can! So what can she possibly know about fine dining???

Don't you just love a guy with a sense of humor?

Awwwww! thumbs_up.gif ........but she has touched just about everyone of our lives.....one way or another. How many people can say that?

You guys are incredible! Thanks so much for the wonderful compliments. For those who asked, I get insomnia a LOT, so it's real common for me to be up until 1 or 2 a.m. I'm a speed reader and type over 125 words per minute, so yeah, I can cover a lot of material in just a little time.

Adven68, the only reason I'm so "experienced" in so many things is because I've been around the block a few times. Count my gray hairs!! icon_biggrin.gif

And yeah, hubby is a funny guy (he does stand-up comedy, remember?). I'll die a happy lady if I can convince him to eat the ravioli from a bowl!!

Boy....now that's a husband and wife combo if I've ever heard one - nothing like a little humor to make life worth living and these two are "tops" in my book!

Hello Mr. Debi, I must tell you I have seen a few of her post when she's helping someone out, usually it's a personal problem, where she'll say " I read your post to my husband and he says" and then give us your opinion on the matter. So while you may not be king of the castle you seem to be quite helpful to the queen icon_smile.gif

I have to jump in here. I had a jumbled mess that I called a business and thanks to Debi answering a lot of pm's and some I thought she would think were dumb. But she set me straight on that. I turned everything around and I have done more business this year than I have ever. My first bridal show I booked 6 weddings! I owe it all to Debi's guidance. So thank you Debi for being our CC wise one. You are always there when someone needs help. Are you sure there aren't wings under that chef's coat?
Thanks For Everything!

Here Here!

debi has been so helpful to me, and right now she and IndysHubby are both helping me through a problem at work with a controlling coworker. So, in both cake life and personal life, Debi, can I adopt you as my second mama?

Okay,
I am an indydebi fan as well. I've been involved in a few threads and been confused about somethings and she's always the first to jump in and answer my questions. So A BIG shout out to you Deb ( you're the best and you have a great sense of humor, love it!!) Now down to the real reason for this post. I know amazing people attract and hang out with amazing people, so how about that amazing husband of yours, does he have any single brothers, uncles, cousins, friends between the ages of 35 and 65 you'd like to hook me up with??? icon_lol.gificon_surprised.gif

Not only is she always willing to lend some cake advise, somehow she always manages to cut through the [email protected] of a situation and tell it how it is! Got to be one of my favorite parts about her posts.
