i am going to be making a DDR (dance dance revolution) cake for my cousin and wanted to know what the best way to make ppink squares on fondant would be. would it be easiest to hand paint them? how do you make pink food coloring or do you have to buy it? or should i mix pink into the fondant to make the squares? again with how to make it pink. any advice would be great! thanks!

Hi there
Wilton makes pink in several shades - you can buy it at craft stores such as Hobby Lobby.
Hope that helps a bit

I think it would be easier to make pink fondant, cut squares and stick them on. You can buy different shades of pink food coloring. If you buy the wilton ones, rose is hot pink and rose petal is a pastel pink.

i'm hoping that wal mart carries the pink shades, since the closest hobby lobby is 70 miles away. lol.
