What happens if I add corn syrup to Royal Icing? It works? it gets hard enough to decorated cookies or simply doesnt work...
(Not a dumb question....but perhaps the wrong category to post it in? ) Maybe you'd get some replies if you moved this over to the "Cookies" section instead of the "Cake Decorating Business" forum?
As for your answer, it's fine to add a tablespoon or two per batch (about 1-2 lbs). It adds a shine to royal icing and dries semi-soft I thought?
