Ok, I was just at the printing store, I enquired as to whether or not they carry edible ink for edible image printing. The OWNER of the store told me that it was a scam to buy edible ink from a cake shoppe. The ink is still only water soluble non toxic ink... the same as what they sell for there regular printers. Who am I to believe??? what is edible ink other than non toxic water soluble regular ink???? Confusedicon_sad.gificon_eek.gif

I have no idea but it's interesting to think about. Have you googled edible ink?

I thought edible ink was food coloring. Non toxic and food safe are two different things. I would ask the guy at the store if he is willing to sign a waiver that his ink is food safe and edible.
