Hi everybody!!! I am making the cake for my nieces 1st bday party. I am using the #1 shape pan from Wilton and I'm putting small balloon shaped cupcakes on top. Where I need help is that I'm tired of making the same old regular yellow cake w/the Wilton's frosting!!!! I saw a receipe on here for a cream cheese buttercream frosting that I'd like to try but any ideas on a cake flavor to go with it?!?!?! I am also making another cake (football helmet shaped) for the same party but this one will be devils food w/a white chocolate almond buttercream. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

*lemon cake w/raspberry filling
*cherry chip cake w/chocolate fill
*In your yellow cake use orange juice for the water and add about 1/2 teaspoon orange zest.
*To your yellow cake batter add a pkg of butterscotch chips and 1 cup chopped pecans. Mix & bake as usual.
*Cherry cake: 1 yellow cake mix; 1 cup sour cream; 1/2 cup oil; 3 large eggs; mix & bake as usual. Fill w/cherry pie filling, adding one teaspoon almond extract.
