I need a good chocolate cake that isn't going to fall apart or be to soft to stack and decorate.. this is my first chocolate cake.. (I dont like chocolate) I used this recipe http://www.cakecentral.com/cak.....-Cake.html
but it was too soft. BUT VERY YUMMY!

Also I used this choc buttercream and it tasted really cocoa powder-y. Any suggestions?

Here's a very good "double" (cake and frosting) chocolate recipe that is made with baking chocolate instead of cocoa powder. It makes a two-layer 9-inch cake.
