How do I keep fondant from cracking? When I knead it I use a lot of crisco to keep it from sticking and I would think that would keep it from cracking once it starts to dry. I have had this happen a couple times using Satin Ice. Any suggestions? What fondant do you prefer to use? Thank you!!!
I make my own fondant and when it gets a little dry I add water to it. When I am blending colors I also put a little water on it to help the blending process.
