My son is getting his Masters Degree in Aeronautics/Astronautics in December. I want to make a sophisticated graduation cake, maybe the books with some sort of "space" theme about it. Not sure what to do without it looking like a "George Jetson" rip-off. Any ideas? Trying to pre-plan for this mega-event. Thanks for any help. I just don't seem to have the creative juices flowing.

Stacked books with different space stuff around it?

Haha sorry I can't help since I haven't slept yet. Hopefully someone can.

That's an idea. What could I use to make a metallic silver finish on items?

I've heard of highlighter dusts but I really don't like to use anything that is not FDA approved. Plus I don't think highlighter dusts are meant to be consumed.
