My friend is getting married and requested "raspberry champagne" cake that she said she had at a bridal fair before. I looked around and found plenty of champagne cake recipes, but none were raspberry. I asked her if it had a raspberry filling, but she said no, it was just the cake.

Anyone have any recipes or ideas for this?

I don't have a recipe (sorry) but I remember seeing in one of the foodnetwork challenges that they added whole raspberries to the batter because when they cut the sample slice you could see them so deliciously in the cake part. Maybe a quick look around foodnetwork challenges on line can help you. HTH
