I made all the cakes last night except for one which I made around 11 am today. TOday I've torted, filled and crumb coated them. How long are you supposed to let them "settle" before doing the final butter cream? Would it be ok if I did it super early tomorrow morning? The wedding is at 5:30 and I'm going to it so I'll prob. drop it off around 3ish

Also I'm not sure if I should stack it here or there? 12, 10, 8, 6??? I'm slightly worried I don't have enough flowers for it so if I don't I can run to the cake store and get more! What do I do?

I am sure overnight will be fine. That is how long I wait. I crumb coat one afternoon and do the fnal coat the following morniing/afternoon. Never had a problem.
