I have a Pontiac Vibe which is perfect for delivering cakes. The front passenger seat folds down completely flat, making a little "shelf" for a cake to sit on. I just lay down a nonskid mat, and I can steady the cake with my hand, if need be, when going around corners.

Now that Pontiac has gone down the tubes, I'm wondering if any other car has this great feature? Someone said that a Matrix is very similar to the Vibe. Does it have a "cake shelf"? TIA

We have a Kia Sportage and our passenger side also folds down completely flat. I never thought about putting a cake there though.

My KIA Sorrento works great. The whole back seat folds down flat. I was happy to get one this year, and it is a great car. A lot of space too
