I just made my first batch of batter and I'm pretty sure I should do most at once! I only have 1 mixer! What do you do?

I can make about 42 cups of batter in my 20 qt. mixer. But I've also got 2, 6 qt KAs and a baby 4.5 qt KA.

Back in the day when I was just starting out, I'd mix a batch of batter, transfer it to a ginormous bowl, make up another batch, pan and bake.

I usually just make 2 at a time.

Depends on the size of yoru mixer, of course, and how much you need that day.

I bake TWO batches at a time. Remember **Double the receipe, NOT the mixing or baking time**
