I'am making a cake from a picture i saw on here and it had ribbon roses??

Here is a link to a youtube video that shows to do them. There is also a tutorial on how to make ribbon leaves on youtube. Just do a search for fondant ribbon leaves.

there are tutorials on you tube, but basically it is just a ribbon of fondant, folded in half and rolled up jelly roll style. some people gather it a little bit as they are rolling. there is a cake in my pics with ribbon roses, those were my first...and i think they came out ok. i did not gather or fluff, just rolled them up.

Which fondant do you prefer for these? Does it work well with MMF and candy clay?
