I'm looking for directions on how to make a bow similar to the one in the picture below. Is there a link that someone could post?

Does anyone prefer making bows out of fabric for cake toppers?

there is a tutorial here on CC. i tried once, using that tutorial and wasn't able to make a succesful bow on my first try. for next time i will make the loops smaller, various sizes, and where the ends are twisted will be shorter. also, there is a website i just saw posted here yesterday called http://www.make-fabulous-cakes.com/index.html that also has a step by step guide.

Hi, here is the tutorial that I followed. Its not in english though.

I would use either 50/50 mix of fondant and gumpaste or add 1/2 a teaspoon of tylose/cmc powder to 250g of fondant. icon_smile.gif
