I am sure that this has been done before, but I can't seem to find it. Could someone please post a link(s) for me for a serving chart? Also, when I read the chart is that for a single layer of cake, or 2 layers with filling.
I am just starting out and have more people asking me for cake orders and I really believe that the best way of doing pricing is by the serving.
Thanks
Keesha

Here is a link to wiltons wedding chart... they have another for party cakes I believe, but I use this one all the time

http://www.wilton.com/cakes/making-cakes/baking-wedding-cake-2-inch-pans.cfm

I actually found out yesterday though some of the batter amounts are not correct. I tried to bake a 8 and 10 inch squares and they took way more batter than the chart shows...

HTH

Here's another one - portions a little more generous than Wilton's, I believe... HTH!
