I am buying my first Edible Image from the store today. I read on CC how to put it on the actual cake, but I am nervous about what to expect once it is on there.

Will it be fine to sit over night? Will it easily crack when I go to transport the cake? How fragile is it?

I planned on putting the image on this afternoon but the cake is for tomorrow night. Will it be OK?

Sorry so many questions! Thanks!!!

It will be fine. I've done several edible images and put them on the day before and they were fine. thumbs_up.gif

We did a LOT of edible images at the bakery I used to work at. The only time we had problems with the image being left for a day or two was when moisture got to it. Like if we didn't thoroughly thaw the cake first or there was condensation in the lid or something. And they never cracked. I have had them slide a few times when they were placed over the part where two sheet cakes were joined together to make a larger cake, then a lot of stress was put on that place by using too weak of a board.
