i want to bake this cake using the recipe i saw in a book, the ingredients include mascarpone. it is for the filling of the cake and i am baking the cake for my boyfriend who does not fancy cheese at all. not even a wee bit. so the suggestions i found r that i substitute it with cream cheese but that will totally turn my bf's appetite off, so any suggestions? help!

Make it with mascarpone and just don't tell him. He'll think it's dee-lish.

I agree. Do you remember that old recipe for a moist chocolate cake that had mayonnaise as an ingredient? Well, I loved that as a kid until I found out about the mayonnaise . . . ignorance is bliss. icon_wink.gif
