Looking for suggestions for a 50th birthday cake for a lady I don't know. Her husband is a co-worker and asked me to make this. He wants something with a cake and Cupcakes to feed 80 people. He is not very helpful on ideas, her likes or dislikes.

Would appreciate any suggestions or links. My well is running dry. I do not need this until July 04. Not a holidy here in Canada

Try to avoid themes because you don't really know what the person is in to. If you go to caljavaonline.com, click the topsy turvy stand. On the right is a really nice picture of a cake with a purse on top. I think it is fun, yet appropriate for a 50 year old.
