What are you using for coloring the butter cream?

Colored butter cream will become darker as it sets. If it wasn't mixed in completely then I suppose it would only become darker in spots.

Ohhhh.....now I get it. You airbrushed on SMBC...I really don't think that's possible. So, the effect on your cake was not intended? I thought it was, cuz it looks freakin' awesome!

But really, I don't see how you can airbrush on something that doesn't crust. I could be wrong...but I don't think so.
