It's happy, cute and bright. Little kids will love it. Cut yourself some slack. You've got a newborn and nursing to worry about.

It's a free cake! Definitely take it in. I'm sure they know you have a newborn at home so they will be very impressed that you had the time to do this at all! The kids will love it!
